“The idea of the road trips was that I was going to do them for five years. That way, if you were to add up all the days I’ve been on the road, it would add up to one year. So this was the last summer. I’m done with those. Which is a shame because I love the road trips. But I don’t want to become one of those artists where people can be like, “Oh, he always does that.” It’s nice to challenge yourself and do something different.”
